PHASE 2: PROTOTYPE --> The next steps are creating the site structure and design. Using the creative and technical briefs as a foundation, ikonetic interactiv's information architect will synthesize the site structure into a cohesive and logical relationship that facilitates optimal end-user navigation. Driven by the kiss standard, our structural approach is to design an extensible architecture to accommodate and anticipate future expansion. Wireframes (storyboards) are created, detailing the essential content and elements for each page or section, so that the visual designers can then develop the look and feel. - Concurrent with the structural development, but also dependant on it, is the visual design. A complete understanding of the goals and objectives as defined in the creative brief sets the stage for conceptual brainstorming and free association, an iterative process that results in a flurry of ideas and concepts. These are discarded, dismembered, reformed, honed and finally melded into initial Photoshop digital comps; at first internally distributed and reviewed, then refined and polished for client consideration.
